For further details on this model, including pricing and available options please contact our office direct on sales@aandygroup.com / 01789 414525 We currently have a number of the latest addition to the Yanmar midi excavator range, SV60 in stock. This particular model weighs in at 5635 kg and gives Yanmar a presence in the conventional tail swing market in this weight category. You will find a variety of the classic features that make Yanmar excavators a popular choice in the SV60, for example the best available cylinder protection and electronic refueling. As well as a number of features that make this machine a real stand out choice. A small choice of these are highlighted below, with many more not mentioned here. As always Contact Us for more information. "Biggest Cab in it's Category" The SV60 offers by far the biggest cab in it's market segment, the same cab as found on our 8 and 10 tonners. In fact its overall volume of 3.21 m3 is at least 38% higher than renowned competitors. Inside the cab, operator comfort is of the highest priority. Large opening doors, new foot pedals, air suspension seat, easy to use controls, large flat glass and air conditioning all help to make this cab one of the safest and most comfortable on the market. "Rear view Camera as Standard" SV60 benefits from a rear-view camera with an additional screen, as standard equipment to offer outstanding visibility. The 7” display is splash waterproof and the camera is itself is waterproof and has night vision. This feature increases safety for the user and everyone on site. "High digging force output" The SV60 has the smallest front turning radius and overall 360° working envelope of all the machines in it’s category. Not only does this reduce the risk of damage to the machine but it also allows it to work in tight spots where others simply cant. Despite this tight radius the powerful arm, with it’s box design has a high digging force output, making it more productive, especially in hard and dry conditions. With a diameter of 90 mm, the arm cylinder will provide an arm digging force capable of giving quick digging times, especially on trench works. "Fuel Saving Features" The powerful and clean Yanmar 4TNV84T engine is also equipped with an ECU. This manages the RPM according to the torque, optimising the engine load. This enables to save fuel while increasing the productivity of the machines. Further fuel saving features found as standard include; eco mode (which reduces the engine speed) and auto deceleration (which drops the engine to idle when the controls aren't used for 4 seconds) "Increases stability and service life" A unique X shaped design of the undercarriage provides un-matched torsional stiffness. All of the components including idlers, track rollers and sprockets have been enlarged. All of this not only increases the front and side stability of the machine but also it’s service life. The crawler tracks are specially designed for Yanmar and the requirements of their excavators. The tracks on the SV60 have excellent travel performance and a long service life. This is due to the crawlers now being symmetrical rather than offset and having an asymmetric lug, which helps grip. During the first quarter of 2018 we have seen sales of the Yanmar SV22 increase. This model which sits in between the SV18 and SV26 weighs in at 2260 kg and has an ultra short tail swing, providing easy access to tight spots. The basic specs of the SV22 are as follows:
As you can see this model is a compact size and very easy to transport between sites on a trailer, whilst still remaining very stable and powerful. There are a number of further benefits that have helped towards more sales of the SV22. Some of these are shown below:
For more information and details of pricing on this model please Contact Us today Five models in our range of Yanmar excavators come with extendable undercarriage as standard. The machines with this feature are the semi zero tail swing SV08 and SV18 as well as the zero tail swing ViO10, ViO12 and ViO17. The operator can switch from the open frame configuration for increased stability, down to the closed frame to work in tight spots or reduced lanes. In the case of the SV08 this can be to travel through a standard doorway (as shown in the below images) The beauty of this feature is not just the added versatility it gives but the ease in which the adjustments can be made. An accessible lever controls the enlargement of the chassis with the blade extension being operated by folding the additional length out from the blade and pinning it in position. This function requires no tools and means that the parts stay attached to the machine at all times, reducing the likelihood of lost parts. Yanmar have also reduced the clearance between the sliding undercarriage parts, thus meaning no build up of soil or mud during the extension and retraction. The changes in machine widths of the excavators are as follows: SV08 = 680mm - 840mm ViO10 = 830mm - 1000mm ViO12 = 830mm - 1000mm ViO17 = 950mm - 1280mm SV18 = 980 - 1320mm The below video shows in simple steps just how easy it is to expand and contract the undercarriage. Yanmar have revealed two new models in their 2.5-3 tonne, zero tail swing range. The ViO26-6 is a 2665 kg machine aimed specifically at the hire industry, whereas the 2745 kg ViO27-6 is designed more for the end user. Both machines have key features from the ongoing Yanmar -6 excavator upgrades. Compared to the old ViO25 you will notice many differences to these new models. An obvious change comes in the cab, users will now find a much improved work station, complete with; digital display screen, larger floor space, new travel pedals, 2nd speed on the blade lever and new more comfortable seats. Key specifications such as dig depth and dump height are also increased in both models. This is helped by a real improvement in the undercarriage. An increased width along with a new X-shaped design has not only improved travel performance but also made the ViO26 and 27 more stable machines. Users so far have commented on the quick cycle times. Yanmar have improved each of the powerline components (engine, hydraulic pump, distributor) meaning no compromise between power and compactness. A flow sharing hydraulic system, made up of a variable-flow piston pump and a load signalling flow share distributor makes combination movements far simpler and smoother than on previous models. Further features such as; full cylinder protection, improved accessibility, new door design and a hydraulic line for clamshell buckets makes these new models a great fit for all manner of jobsites.
Available now from A&Y Equipment, your UK & Ireland Yanmar distributor. Please Contact Us Today for further information: 01789 414525 / sales@aandygroup.com This week we had more Yanmar excavators heading up North of the border to Scotland. This increases the 2018 numbers of machines sold into the country, making it the best start to a year we've had in Scotland.
The latest load show above consisted of; 1 tonne SV08's, the cabbed SV18 with expanding tracks and the ever popular and reliable SV26. A&Y's Area Manager, Peter Barfield commented "it's a really positive start to the year for Yanmar in Scotland, with a good range of machines now working in hire fleets and with dealers. We have had some great enquires for Ammann compaction and also our Dieci telehandlers so expect more machines leaving us for Scotalnd soon" Below you can see machines delivered in January set in a very snowy scene. For more information on our sales, parts and servicing please Contact Us today. The SV18, our 2 tonne, cabbed, Yanmar mini excavator has had a change of look to make it more modern. A re-design of the rear and boom plus change of decals has brought the SV18 in line with the recent changes to some of the larger excavators, such as the ViO50-6. This model, part of the semi zero tail swing or SV range is a machine with expandable tracks from 980 mm to 1320 mm, making it more stable and versatile than most machines in this weight class. Easily transportable on a trailer or a utility vehicle thank to its reduced dimensions, with excellent traction forces for an excavator of this weight class, the SV18 is a highly efficient machine. Also equipped with hydraulic Load-Sensing flow sharing, variable flow piston pump, with a dual or single-action auxiliary circuit fitted to arm end, the SV18 is a versatile mini-excavator able to support many tasks in very different places from very narrow areas to big sized work sites.
The SV18 furthermore results from a successful combination of the engine and the hydraulic system which enables to reduce fuel consumption, increase productivity and reduce exhaust fumes. A very popular machine, particularly north of the border in Scotland we have them in stock now with options for finance readily available. For further information, pricing and to place orders contact our Parts Department on: parts@aandygroup.com / 01789 208924 In the second part of our annual review we take a look at the highlights between July - December. As always if you have any further questions about any of our products or aftersales please contact us on 01789 414525 / sales@aandygroup.com Have a great New Year and see you in 2018! July Despite being one of our most popular models, the Yanmar SV26 went through some improvements. The main change is seen in the tracks. As well as having a new design and more grip, they have increased in width from 250mm to 300mm. As well as improving manoeuvrability, these new tracks will also last longer. With 15% less ground pressure, wear will reduce as well as the potential for damages to the ground. The blade has also been widened to accommodate the wider tracks, as well as full ram guard protection on the bucket, dipper and arm cylinders. August Ammann released a new line of technologically advanced APF, forward travel plate compactors. These plates provide industry leading compaction output, manoeuvrability, travel speed and climbing ability. They have also had much work done to reduce unwanted vibration to operators. These plates fit a broad range of applications, such as gardening, landscaping and road works. September We sold the first of our Pegasus roto telehandlers in September. This model the 40.25 went straight to a home building site complete with a winch and is fully remote controlled. This machine also features a powerful FPT 141 hp Turbocharged Diesel engine. Its 2-speed hydrostatic, 25 mph road speed gets it around to various locations quickly. The ATP (Anti Tipping Protection) safety feature along with stabilisers all around ensures both operator comfort and safety. The Pegasus 40.25 features a lifting capacity of 4000 kg with a 20.5 metre horizontal reach, making it ideal for most construction and building applications. October
We supplied FM Conway another batch of Yanmar excavators throughout October. This most recent deal was made up of 6 tonne ViO57’s, 5 tonne ViO50’s, 2.5 tonne SV26’s and 1.5 tonne SV16’s. This is in addition to a similar set of machinery supplied in late 2016, on that occasion 8 tonne ViO80’s were also included. A&Y’s Area Sales Manager, Peter Ayres said “it’s fantastic to be associated with innovative and ever growing companies like FM Conway. This latest order shows their loyalty to both the Yanmar and A&Y brands.” November The ARX26, which has an operating weight of 2.5 tonne, a drum width of 1200 mm and offers a centrifugal compaction force of 47KN had a successful year with many units being sold. In November more of these rollers left us to both end users and dealers. Users have commented on the great drum visibility as well as the electric drive lever ideal for work on asphalt jobs. December We now have stock of the upgraded Yanmar ViO33 and ViO38. These models are now -6 and join other models in being improved. These changes not only increase performance and productivity but also make the operating experience a much more comfortable one. Just a few of these improvements include: Higher lifting capacities, more stable undercarriage, new engine ECU, improved powerline, air suspension seat, more leg room, re-designed one piece door and much better maintenance access. |
