The second part of our annual review concentrates on July - December which included the small matters of a re-brand and new excavator line! Thank you from everyone at Molson Compact Equipment for your support during 2018. Let's hope 2019 brings more success for everyone. July Hands up who spotted the Dieci telehandlers working at European race tracks over the summer? Twelve Zeus 37.7s and Dedalus 30.7s were on hand not only to help with race week setups but also to clear up after any unfortunate accidents. We watched an early collision in one race, in the space of a few minutes, the Zeus 37.7 machine positioned in the escape route, at the exit of the corner, hitched up and carried off the two cars, while marshals removed dangerous fragments from the track. August Plant Hire firm, Plantforce, added a number of Dieci Apollo 25.6R telehandlers into their growing fleet. The Apollo 25.6R a model specifically spec’d for hire work and suiting the requirements of Plantforce. Further options were added to these machines to make them ready for hire. This included; green flashing beacons, radio systems and reverse camera kits. All of which was fitted by our engineers. September We supported the Molson Group stand at the APF forestry show by having a Bergmann 4010 tracked dumper on the demo plot. This 10 tonne, tracked dumper with a rotating skip and fully turning operators platform is perfect for use on large outdoor jobs such as forestry work. Features such as: low ground pressure, powerful engine and a large comfortable cab, make it it particularly suited to this work. October
*Hello Molson Compact Equipment LTD* In line with the current evolution of the Molson Group, we re-branded as Molson Compact Equipment LTD in October this year. This meant our site just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon, became the Molson Group ‘Centre of Excellence’ for all compact plant equipment. Molson Compact Equipment Managing Director, Robert Brown said of the changes “Being the centre of excellence will involve us being responsible for the processing of Sales, Parts, Servicing, Storage and PDI for the Molson Group compact ranges. Whilst still offering ongoing Yanmar parts and service support” November A big part of the re-brand is the addition of Kobelco mini excavators to the Molson Compact offering. These excavator models, from 1-10 tonne, perfectly complement the existing lines of Ammann, Dieci, Bergmann and Cormidi plant machinery. Models including the 1 tonne, SK10SR-2, 2.8 tonne SK28SR-6, 7 tonne SK75SR-3 and 8 tonne SK85MSR-3 all started going through our workshop in Novemeber. December A group of Molson Compact staff, as well as current and prospective customers took a trip to the Bergmann factory in Meppen, Germany. It was great to see how these high quality dumpers are put together and the build quality along each step of production. Also on site was the car part manufacturing area, where Bergmann produce manifolds for Porsche and Ferrari.

2018 has been some year for Molson Compact Equipment LTD! We have seen many changes over the past 12 months, but now we are in a position where we can offer you the best lineup of products in our history. Below are just some of our highlights and favorite moments from the first six months of the year. Part 2 will follow soon... January A project to recondition 5 Dieci F7000 truck mixers started in January. These trucks have had a 24/7 working life on a major construction site. The job at hand wasn't to just replace but actually improve the specifications on the machine. Once the cement was cleared the mechanics roles and jobs included: Replacing components such as; starter motors, batteries, alternators and filters, as well as a complete re paint. February Once again we showed a range of smaller products, well suited to the hire industry at 2018's EHS. This year we saw a high interest in the Dieci Apollo 25.6R telehandler as well as the Cormidi hit-tip tracked dumpers. The highlight of the show this year was securing a deal to provide Ammann ARR1575 trench rollers to a large hire firm. March In March we had a Zeus 33.11, Dieci's most compact stabilised telehandler, making a great 'hands on' impression, working on a national home builders site. A big benefit of the 33.11 is that the jack legs deploy within the width of the wheels. Thus allowing the operator to still be able to lift to maximum height, even on compact sites, perfect for modern day house building. April
For our hard work on the continued deal we have to supply Ardent Hire with their rollers, we received a special commendation from Ammann. Well done to everyone from Sales, Parts, Service and Marketing who helped us gain this award. May Our product portfolio grew further in June with the addition of Bergmann dumpers. The newly remodelled Bergmann ADT150 wheeled dumpers leads the new lineup. These machines come with either a swivel, rear or three side tip and have optional 180° rotating seats with reversing cameras, so the operator can always be facing the direction of travel. This key safety feature makes these machines well suited to industries such as tunneling, mining and quarrying. June A very hot, dusty but successful Hillhead show was held in late June. The launch of the Bergmann machines took centre stage but there was much interest in the Dieci telehandler models and Ammann compaction equipment. A prototype ARX-2 series roller was also on the stand, a glimpse into the future of tandem rollers. Recently we visited a UK site where a Cormidi CMF1500, multifunctional dumper is working. This model offers you huge versatility in any job, with not just the standard function of a tracked dumper, but a further range of attachments to make these machines great value for money. In fact over one hundred possible configurations. Many of the attachments can be swapped over, without the use of tools in just 2 minutes. In this case a swivel skip was being used, perfect for the application and space available. For further information on the CMF or any other models from Cormidi please contact us on: compact@molsongroup.co.uk / 01789 414525 Next week is the annual APF show, the UK's largest forestry, woodland, arboricultral, fencing and biomass exhibition. The event is taking place at Ragley Estate, nr Alcester, Warwickshire and will be open on the 20th, 21st and 22nd September. As part of the Molson Group Stand (720-760 out) will be a Bergmann 4010. This 10 tonne, tracked dumper with a rotating skip and fully turning operators platform is perfect for use on large outdoor jobs such as forestry work. Here are some of the reasons this dumper is so suited to work in all manner of environments:
If you can't make the show and would like some further information on the Bergmann 4010 then please contact our head office on:
01789 414525 - sales@aandygroup.com - or enter a Contact Form on the above banner The Cormidi CMF range offers operators huge versatility in any job. A key feature is not just having the standard functions of a tracked dumper, but a further range of attachments, making it incredibly versatile. In fact some models have over one hundred possible configurations! Many of the attachments can be swapped over, without the use of tools in just 2 minutes. Attachments that have been supplied to customers include; grass cutters, brushes, log grabs, pallet forks and augers. On top of the standard skip buckets with straight or swivel tip. As with all the Cormidi carriers, the undercarriage is a key selling point. It is incredibly robust. It really has been created for the toughest jobs. The rubber track’s special design is optimised for continuous performance with great traction and a long life with minimal wear. The rocking rollers allow for constant ground contact, giving a more stable ride.
Another unique feature on this machine is the most efficient Hi-Flow system available on the market. Two variable piston pumps with automatic constant power means the machine always has maximum power available. This was clear at last years Plantworx show, where a CMF1500 was working in an incredible wet and boggy demo area. In fact one potential customer said "I've never seen a machine where I'm so sure every site would have work for it" Below is just a few more of the key benefits. Please contact us for further information, including brochures and the opportunity to demo this machine. 01789 414525 / sales@aandygroup.com The Cormidi C6.60 is a high performing and highly reliable tracked carrier and is much more than 'a wheelbarrow on tracks' Measuring just 695mm wide it passes through standard doors, additionally with the longest undercarriage (1320mm) and highest discharge height (1675mm at pivot) in it's class its not hard to see why this machine proves incredibly popular on all manner of job sites. The C6.60, with an air cooled, Yanmar LA electric start engine (7.5hp) and top travelling speed of 2.3mph moves over uneven or wet ground even when fully loaded. These tracked dumpers have the perfect combination of speed and power thanks to a hydrostatic transmission. This is based on pumps with axial pistons controlling variable flow. This allows the Cormidi to work comfortably at its top speed. This is aided by the innovative 'rocking rollers', where the middle two rollers along the bottom oscillate allowing the tracks to ride over stones or brick whilst still keeping the load stable and giving the operator a safe ride. Unlike many competing machines that don't have this key feature. This tracked dumper often goes hand in hand with a mini excavator, therefore it is important a machine like this can be easily transported. Four tie down points make for safe trailer transportation, you will find four lifting points too on the C6.60 which are very useful.
You will also see that the working levers which control tracking, speed and tipping mechanism are fully protected against any possible damages caused by an excavator when loading. Currently in stock and ready for orders, if you would like any more information on these machines then please contact our team on sales@aandygroup.com or call 01789 414525 The Bergmann ADT150 is widely regarded as an incredibly well built, reliable and industry leading earthmover, with no other machines coming close to it's class of dumper. That is certainly the feedback we heard from the recent Hillhead show, where we had an ADT150, complete with swivel skip, reversing cameras and 180° rotating operators platform on our stand. There are many features that make the Bergmann ADT150 such a stand out machine. For example the rotatable drivers console is unique for this class of dumper. As well as having a swivel skip the ADT150 is also available with a straight and 3 sided tip. The following are key points to consider when comparing a Bergmann ADT to other models: Operator Comfort Not only is there a large, comfortable cab but the joystick has been designed so that all functions can be operated with one hand. This ensures increased safety, not to mention greater comfort for the user. The rotating station is so the operator can always be facing the direction of travel. This key safety feature makes these machines well suited to industries such as tunneling, mining and quarrying. A Smooth Ride A suspended front axle makes for a comfortable and stable ride for the operator and the load, even at the top speed of 40 km/h. The Power to Move The powerful Cummins engine is fuel efficient, low emission and powerful. Meeting the latest Tier 4f criteria. Easy Fault Finding The central, front electric board is clear and concise. A clever LED light system makes it very easy to fault find and fix any issues Optimal Service Times Thanks to good accessibility and the patented hood system (where the hoods fully open even with the skip down) engineers can reach all of the key service areas easily. All filters can also be reached from ground level. High Stability The articulated swivel joint, with stabilisation cylinders, ensure optimum traction and high stability over all terrains. Soil Conserving Optimal ground pressure is ensured at all times by a wide range of tyres available, suited to all types of terrain. 01789 414525 / sales@aandygroup.com MOVE MORE FOR LESS, WITH BERGMANN and A&Y As part of our Cormidi range of tracked dumpers is the C85, a dumper with an operating weight of 800kg and the ability to carry a heaped load of 0.36 m3 (or 360 litres).
Despite it being larger than the C50 and C60 it still remains a compact dumper, with a length of less than 2 metres and width of 810mm. The hi-tip function allows users to tip to 1.5 metres, ideally suited to tipping into skips or over walls for example. This model was released in 2014 as improved version of the C80. Areas of improvement include; Engine, Electric System, Undercarriage, Hydraulic System, Design and Performance. For example the C85 has a 15% larger skip capacity, 100mm more ground contact, 20% more speed and a reduction in vibration by 70% when compared to previous models. As well as the standard skip on the Cormidi there is also the option to add on a number of attachments. Previously we have sold a C85 Hi tip with self loading shovel and concrete mixer attachment, other factory fitted options include crane winch and forks. Further features of this Cormidi model include:
You can see models from Cormidi at Hillhead next week if visiting our stand N17, alongside other products from our Ammann, Dieci and Bergmann ranges. The ability to move 10 tonnes of material over the worst terrain. The driver can always face the direction of travel with a rotatable seat. Tight turning radius. Incredibly large and comfortable cab. These are just a few of the many features and benefits to the Bergmann 4010 tracked dumper now available from A&Y Equipment LTD. Despite the dumpers empty weight (14,850 kg) and even with a full load this machine can still climb up and over uneven surfaces and power through boggy terrain, all whilst keeping an incredibly low ground pressure for a dumper this size. We will be showing a 4010 dumper with a swivel tip skip at the upcoming Hillhead show, where you can see and hear about some more of it's industry leading features, such as:
If you can't make it to Hillhead and would like further information, inlcuding specs and pricing on the Bergmann dumpers please visit our Bergmann WebPage (here) or Contact US 01789 414525 or sales@aandygroup.com ![]() A&Y Equipment LTD are delighted to become the sole UK & Ireland importer and distributor for the Bergmann 3000 and 4000 Series of dumpers. The deal, signed at last month’s Intermat show expands A&Y’s product portfolio further giving them coverage in the excavator, compaction, telehandler and dumper markets. The newly remodelled Bergmann ADT150 wheeled dumpers will lead the new lineup. These machines come with either a swivel, rear or three side tip and have optional 180° rotating seats with reversing cameras, so the operator can always be facing the direction of travel. This key safety feature makes these machines well suited to industries such as tunnelling, mining and quarrying. With a load volume of 8.5 m³ and the ability to work comfortably at high speed, the ADT150 is in a league of its own when it comes to this size of dumper. Visitors to the A&Y stand at Hillhead will be able to see the large, comfortable cab, as well as the easily accessed service points. Including a very clever electronics board. As well as this wheeled dumper the 10 tonne, Bergmann 4010 tracked machine with swivel or straight skip, will also now be available. Again a rotating seat option and cameras gives optimal visibility and safety. Despite its high carrying ability, stability and traction the 4010 still keeps a very low ground pressure. Making it a brilliant machine for all manner of ground conditions. Export Sales Manager, Mr Bernd Kirschner said that Bergmann Maschinenbau GmbH looks forward to developing these European key markets with its new partner A&Y Equipment Ltd. Besides the dumper’s quality, performance and H&S benchmarks, it is necessary to provide our customers with a tight and nationwide sales and service infrastructure.
